I couldn't write about LOVE without quoting the best scripture to support it.
*******************
Love is patient and Kind.
Love is not jealous.
It does not brag; and it is not proud.
Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not become angry easily.
Love does not remember wrongs done against it.
Love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.
Love patiently accepts all things.
It always trusts, always hopes, and always continues strong.
Love never ends.
(I Corinthians 13:4-8 ICB*)
We all have experienced love one way or the other but the greatest of them all is God's Love for us. He loves us so much He has birthed in us the Spirit to do the same.
Some say it's difficult to love as God did by sending us His Only Begotten Son- Jesus Christ and even more difficult to love someone when it is not reciprocal. I have come to realise that God is not excepting you to be perfect at it but rather looking up to Jesus who is the author of Love.
By looking up to Jesus, you subconsciously show Love without a struggle and just as you give a plant air to grow and not smoothering it to die, you also give room for errors and differences in Love. Allowing it to grow over time. A careful analysis of I Corinthians 13 sums up the quote perfectly.....you need patient, care, time, amongst others to flourish in Love. Be blessed as you go out in love today........#inspired...ann #WiseQuotes

Love, often a topic of discussion for so many. I think if we live as the scripture describes here there will be peace. I think I used to struggle with love does not remember wrong things done😆 . As I got older and worked through certain things I realized that when I forgive, I have to forget too.
ReplyDeleteExactly.....forgetting is the part which seals the forgiveness. Thanks for toue comments Sherry.
