A very blessed day to you all my dear readers, I’m back with the next temperament but before that let’s get into the disclaimer shall we? 

DISCLAIMER: the message I’m about to share is not entirely my own but information aquired as a result of my research together with the help and knowledge of The Holy Spirit(The Word of God) that  I was inspired with it. References will be made at the end of every post. 

The next temperament I’m going to be writing about is MELANCHOLY. The melancholia are thoughtful, faithful and persistent. Their detailed oriented minds, combined with extremely high standards often lean them to make great strides in their area of expertise. For melancholies, planning and organization are an essential part of life. They are meticulously tidy, and always on time. It’s fun for them to analyze data and find creative solutions. The melancholy’s motto: If something is worth being done, it’s worth being done right.

These temperaments have a “DO IT RIGHT” kind of attitude. Moses was the kind of guy. He wanted to know the details of how God was going to help him lead the people out of Egypt. Attentive to the detials of the law given by God and the precise measurements of the temple. He seemed unsure of himself and tried to convince God to make his brother Aaron a leader.

Esther the Queen was willing to comply with the rules and requirements of her position. Yet, when it became necessary to bend the rules, she wanted to make sure it was done correctly. She planned very carefully and prayerfully and was systematic in her approach to problem solving. Mary the mother of Jesus was analytical, when greeted by the Angel in Luke 1:26-38 she wondered what sort of greeting this might be. In the verse 19, we realise she kept all these things, pondering them in her heart. She is most likely to be a “Melancholic Phlegmatic”. 

And this brings me to the point that it is most likely you will find yourself in more than one temperament. 

There are many others who falls under this temperament but two people I found fascinating are Judas Iscariot and Peter. Peter denies Jesus three times and Judas once yet he killed himself. Take a money to think about this. Why do you think that was so? I’ll love to hear your answers in the comment section.

Other groups you’ll have have the melancholic temperament are teachers and intercessors. Proverbs 27:12 is a good scripture for these temperaments….let’s read. “A prudent man sees evil and hides himself and avoids it, But the naive [who are easily misled] continue on and are punished [by suffering the consequences of sin].”‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27‬:‭12‬ ‭AMP‬‬

How To Love A Melancholy - Melancholies tend to be hard on themselves, so your sincere, loving encouragements can go a long way! Be mindful of their sensitive nature, as your words could easily wound them. Melancholies thrive when they have time alone, so give them the space they need to shine. Do your part to make things clean and tidy—and be sure to praise them for the thoughtful dedication they put into everything they do!

I pray as we go through these temperaments, you begin to understand yourself better and then be able to also relate to others better. The lord bless you all.

As promised, here is the second part of the message. I pray the first part was a blessing to you. Let’s get into it but before that let me share the disclaimer. 

DISCLAIMER: the message I’m about to share is not entirely my own but information aquired as a result of my research together with the help and knowledge of The Holy Spirit(The Word of God) that  I was inspired with it. References will be made at the end of every post. 

Repositioning your mindset to working together requires firstly knowing yourself and then those you work with. So my question to you is, “do you really know yourself?” “Do you know why you do the things you do?” Let’s read Psalm 139:13-15 with emphasis on verse 14.(Kindly read the whole chapter for better understanding). “For You formed my innermost parts; You knit me [together] in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was being formed in secret, And intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth.”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭13‬-‭15‬(AMP)

The psalmist clearly identified that his soul knows very well of who he is in Christ. If your souls knows very well and is aware then you have the privilege of getting to know who you really are, which will be beneficial in your spiritual growth. His description of how God made him reminds me of exactly what Jeremiah also said in Jeremiah 1:5(AMP) - ““Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument], And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own]; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.””

This is what you need to discover. That inner complex self which is also the breathe of God. Remember in Genesis, when God created man, He breath His breathe of life into man and man became a living being. That breathe lives in you and is a part of you who truly are. As you grow from a baby, you learn by picking up traits and personalities from your family and those around you. Nonetheless that breathe of God is also a part of you and it requires daily communication and relationship with God to be in tune.

If we are able to understand that, only then will we be able to know and understand others better. You will also be able to relate to them better and avoid many unnecessary misunderstandings and confusions. It’s a new era and requires the knowledge of God to operate. We have become a generation with every information at our fingertips yet we mostly don’t seem to be that knowledgeable as we should. 

In light of this, my next question to you will be, “have you ever wondered what your personality is like through scriptures? Let’s get into the four temperaments with scriptural backings to give us more insight.

SANGUINE - Sanguines are spontaneous, vivacious and cheerful. They see the positive in everything around them and always expect the best out of life. Being naturally optimistic, sanguines have the ability to take any dull task and make it fun. They love to be with people, talking and telling stories, and they’re quite comfortable and happy to be the center of attention. Sanguines add joy and enjoyment to everyday life, and bring a little party wherever they go!

*These group are “A TRUST ME! IT’LL WORK OUT”, kind of people. Peter will be part of this group. He was very dramatic, often speaking up for the rest of the disciples. Sometimes he spoke before thinking. One moment, in front of the crowd, he promises to never forsake Christ. Ruth showed sanguine behavior when she enticed Naomi to let her travel with her. She demonstrated family loyalty and an adventurous spirit by her willingness to move to a foreign country. You’ll also find that many evangelists are sanguines. These are supporting scriptures for this group; Proverbs 15:13 and Proverbs 15:15.

*How to Love a Sanguine - A Sanguine can speak first and think later, but remember they mostly mean well! They’re great at getting things started but may need your help and encouragement to finish a job. Sanguines sincerely love to help others but may over-commit due to their enthusiastic nature, so encourage them to count the cost before they commit. Show them you appreciate the fun and excitement they bring to your life!

As we go along, it is likely you will find yourself in more than one temperament. I will end this here but I pray you allow the spirit of God to lead you into how to deal with all these temperaments.

REPOSITIONING YOUR MINDSET TO SERVICE!

Hello there my dear readers, it has been a while since I posted something. I have been trying my hands on many different things and it seems writing is one of my favourites after all. I am glad to be sharing this post with you all. 

The reason for starting off again really is due to a message I shared with my church family over the weekend. There was so much information to share with not enough time so I promised to share the rest later. After careful thinking of ways I could, I was reminded of my blogging on here. So here we are and what a perfect way to kick back into it. This message is in two parts: REPOSITIONING YOUR MINDSET  TO SERVICE & KNOWING WHO YOU REALLY ARE.

DISCLAIMER: the message I’m about to share is not entirely my own but information aquired as a result of my research together with the help and knowledge of The Holy Spirit(The Word of God) that  I was inspired with it. References will be made at the end of every post. 

Repositioning your mindset to service requires togetherness. It requires individuals coming to the realisation that our aim of making it to heaven means we be our “brothers keeper” and work together to achieve that. The word of God in 1 Corinthians 12:21(ESV) says “the eye cannot say to the hand I have no need of you, nor again the head to the feet I have no need of you”…..meaning you cannot be a servant of God with the “I can do it by myself” mindset. No man is an island and even islands have the sea, trees and other creatures around it which comes together to  make it the perfect island. We need each other on this journey.

Now let me bring in the story of BABEL, which I’m sure most of you know. The story can be found in Genesis 11:1-9(kindly read all) for further clarification. Simply put, the story is one which tells of how the Babyloniains who at the time had one language wanted to build for themselves a great city with a tower that reaches up to the heavens but got stopped by God. Here are two reasons why I think God stopped them;

1. They wanted to make a name for themselves. Like wow! as we may rightly exclaim. How do you try to make a name for yourself by building a tower all the way to heaven? Why will you try to challenge the Almighty who’s NAME is above every other name. The one who’s GLORY no one can share(Isaiah 42:8).

2. Pride and arrogance set in. And I can see how boastful they must have become thinking we are of one language so we can do this, we can certainly reach the heavens. 🤣 (had to bring in my fav emoji). These people were on a mission and by all means necessary they had to accomplish it but one thing is certain…..”Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall” Proverbs 16:18(NIV). 

What other possible reasons do you think God would have used to stop them? I will love to hear from you so kindly share your views in the comment section. 

Moving on, I was fascinated by this story because as much as it has many negatives there are also some positives to pick up from as servants of God. Besides explaining the existence of diverse human languages out of their division, It also teaches that togetherness yields great results. I mean imagine a people with one language, they must have known each other so well and it must have been well enough to reason together for such an awesome plan to build a mighty city to the heavens. This reminds me of the scripture in Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭19‬ ‭(AMP‬‬) “Again I say to you, that if two believers on earth agree [that is, are of one mind, in harmony] about anything that they ask [within the will of God], it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” 

So I pose the question to you dear reader, can two walk together unless they agree? Let me hear from you in the comment section.

I mean let’s be honest, this was a master plan orchested and I doubt there has ever been any of such recorded in history again. This comes to show the power we possess being united. Imagine the souls we can win together being united in outreach to the world. And imagine how being united can even be beneficial to our own personal journey in Christ Jesus. We can do exploit when we become one. We usually give credit to others who are united in making wealth amongst thier families and community and we wonder why. Remember we the chosen generation are of a blessed descendants and so must also enjoy the blessings of God here on earth. But this calls for looking out for one another in good and in bad. Admitted, it can be very challenging dealing with humans but knowing who you truly are in Christ can be the beginning of learning how the other person also is in order to be able to work with them amicably and peacefully…..which leads me to the next part of this message - REPOSRITIONING YOUR MIND TO KNOWING WHO YOU REALLY ARE!

Wise Quotes - BREAK THE CYCLE

Do you ever find yourself going back to do the same thing, you promised not to do? Do you ever find that the same situations in your life keeps coming back and it seems it's a never ending case of challenges happening over and over again? You see, the devil, he learns from your mistakes and even though you may not recognise, he uses your mistakes to bring a cycle of a ripple effect of the challenges you face.

IT IS TIME TO BREAK THE CYCLE.

The Word of God urges us in Ephesians 6: 10.....to "be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might." Why do you think that is so? Because constantly the enemy is looking for ways to bring distractions,  confusion and waging war in your life just so you loose track.

And have you ever asked yourself why you don't feel worthy of God's presence when you're down and low? That is how the enemy works; he'll make you feel worse and condemn yourself. He'll remind you of how bad a sinner you are. Thanks be to God who has blessed us with His Son Jesus Christ, we need not stay in condemnation. The FATHER loves and knows us just so well he has given us His Word, which is full of reminders and promises of His love.

The bible over and over again kept saying "And God was with David".....why do you think it was so? Bearing in mind, David had some real issues going on and I mean issues that are worse than what you've ever imagined. It was simple, David always spent time in the presence of God. It didn't matter what he had done, he always found himself back on His knees crying out to God.

In those low moments, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding and believe that He'll see you through. Get down on your knees and talk to Him. Believe it or not, in those times, words will fail you because your mind is clouded and you're worn out with the heaviness you carry but that is when you need to pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion....Ephe 6:18. The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words......Romans 8:26

THERE IS POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS TO BREAK EVERY CYCLE;
cycle of distraction, anger, confusion, failure, addiction, loss, frustration,  sickness, financial burdens and the lot. Don't depend on your strength but rest in the peace of God to bring you out and when you do don't forget to.....

Did you know, Proverbs 31:10-31 compromise a Hebrew acrostic poem with each verse beginning with a successive letter of the Hebrew alphabet???

Many times, this scripture has been read and has brought about many mixed feelings. For the men, they read and the expectation of a woman becomes high. For the women, they read and are afraid they can't live to that expectation.

The book of Proverbs begins with the COMMAND TO THE FEAR OF THE LORD (1:7) and ends with the picture of a woman who FULFILS this command. Some people have the mistaken idea that the ideal woman in the Bible is retiring,  servile and entirely domestic. NOT SO! This woman is an excellent wife and Mother.  She is also a manufacturer, importer, manager, realtor, farmer, fashion designer, upholsterer and mechant. Her strength and dignity do not come from her amazing achievements,  however that are a result of her REVERENCE FOR GOD.

The woman described has outstanding abilities.  Her family's social position is high. In fact, she may not be one woman at all, she may be a composite portrait of the idea of womanhood. Do not see her as a model to imitate in every detail instead see her as an inspiration to be all you can be. We can't be just like her, but we can learn from her industry,  integrity and resourcefulness.

These qualities when coupled with the fear of God, lead to enjoyment, success, honour and worth. A woman  who recognises her own God-given self-worth will not  have to prove her value to anyone.

Today we recognise and praise all the women and mothers in our lives. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.💓💓💓

Wise Quotes - PROVERBS 5

Have you ever been insulted for no reason? How was your reaction? Wait! Let me guess, it was so painful your first response was get mad, then perhaps say something back before you decided not to act. 

We all go through issues one way or the other. From the careless driver who crossed you and apologised with insults, to the neighbour next door who just doesn't like you for no reason and will say nothing nice. These are some of the everyday challenges we face but let me remind you of this scripture.... 1 Peter 4:12-15(NIV)Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed, when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

In other words, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.....James 1:2-4.

Yeap, that's what the scriptures say.....do we take it or ignore it? We sometimes read the scriptures but ignore certain parts of it, forgetting that we can't TAKE or ADD to the Word of God but need to OBEY it in its entirety. Choosing to obey is a step in the right direction of allowing The Spirit of God to help you handle the challenges well. 

"An undeserved curse will not land" means that it has no effect.The use of a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow is an interesting example, because if you've ever watched a fluttering sparrow, it doesn't land for more than a second, hence the curse not landing. A darting swallow is also known for travelling from country to country, so again the curse will not land.

Be encouraged as you go through life with challenges. Allow The Word to direct you the next time you come across insults but above all, remember that those insults are undeserved so WILL NOT LAND.

Wise Quotes - PROVERBS 4

In Solomon 's day, Kings possessed absolute authority and were often considered to be like God's. Some were also considered the judges for the people, which in Solomon's reign was the case. What they ruled or said was final and NO ONE could reverse their verdict.

In our days, though we have Kings and rulers, we also have the court of law to rule and deal with most cases. In rear situations we have the police who are also given authority to some extent to make instant judgements.

In a nutshell , we live in a world governed by authorities who decides for us. This proverb shows that GOD has ULTIMATE authority over the world rulers. Although they may not have realised it, the earth's most powerful kings have always been under God's CONTROL.

Likewise the most difficult person to deal with is also under God's control. So the next time you ever feel helpless in the hands of another, lift up your head to the MOST HIGH who reigns and rule the Heavens and the earth because "The King's heart is in His Hands and He chanels it the way He pleases."

Wise Quotes - PROVERBS 3

The Bible describes a wise man as one who listens and increase in their learning, a man who understands and also taking in advice GRACEFULLY.

Our generation has come far with technology and with each passing day, there are new inventions. There isn't an information needed that won't be found online. With Google being our best friend , we can simple 'Ask Google' for almost anything. I say almost because ask Google about Jesus Christ and it has no idea.

This comes to show you that wisdom and knowledge is ONLY attained from the Word of God. In today's Proverb, be encouraged to increase in learning in whatever field you find yourself - from your job to college or even with family, make it a point to always be prepared to learn something new. Don't be like those who 'knows it all', add on to your knowledge and use that knowledge in making a better life, BUT above all, recognise that TRUE WISDOM & KNOWLEDGE is attained through Jesus Christ.

Remember the Holy Spirit is not just our Comforter but also the GREATEST TEACHER in this life.
John 14:26 says
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Wise Quotes - PROVERBS 2

Several times in the book of Proverbs,  wisdom is often referred to as a woman......"in her right hand she offers long life and in her left riches and honour." Majority of us concentrate more on eating healthy and excersing more to have good heath which in turn leads to long time. Others depend on medicine and the most expensive health care treatments. What we fail to realise is God is the one who holds the key to life.

By wisdom the Word of God urges us to honour our Father and Mother so that our days may be long on earth. This is a guaranteed promise given based on the condition of honouring our parents....follow it and you add on to your days of life, disregard it and you don't....simple. This command amongst others relating to long life can all be found in God's Word and if we should follow, it'll be beneficial to our lives.

With the glitz and glamour of our society,  our generation is also pushed into get-rich-quick schemes to satisfy our desires of having it all. The pressures from the media doesn't help but promote these lifestyles. The Word of God clearly states that "The blessings of the Lord makes one rich and adds no sorrows." Would you rather gain the world and loose your soul or gain Jesus and live a worthy life which is eternal.

Proverbs 14:12(KJV) There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Think about these words, with Wisdom you have long life in your right hand and in your left riches and honour. Choose life.

Wise Quotes - PROVERBS 1

Proverbs - To apply devine wisdom to daily life and to provide moral instruction.

Can you trust God with your life?
Some people try to run their lives all by themselves. That never works. The reason is that God made us for Himself.  Without God,  we are not complete persons and we fail. We're just tiny specks in God's universe.  But He knows and understands our needs better than we do.

The above scripture gives us The Greatest Wisdom. You should memorise this proverb; "Do not depend on your own understanding." As you go through life, these words will make you strong when you have to make decisions. Some people might say, "You have to depend in yourself, " and "God helps people who help themselves. " But you don't have to depend on your own wisdom. The truth is that human wisdom very often fails. We don't understand our world as good as we think we do. Only God has the perfect understanding.

God urges you to count on Him when you have choices to make. He made you, and He knows all about you, so give your problems to Him. You will be surprised how clear your path becomes when God is choosing your way for you. Remember, a tiny speck of a man knows very little about life, but God understands all about you and life.

Wise Quotes - Reality Check!

You hear the words 'REALITY CHECK' and what comes to mind? Self Examination right?.......yeap, to check one's self of a motive, behaviour or actions. While praying and deliberating on what Word to share next, these are the words that spoke out to me.......it was so loud and clear i began to check myself and my motives for serving God. I asked myself several questions and tried to find answers in the scriptures.

So today as much as this Word is to me, I believe someone will also be blessed by it. My question to you is, what is your motive for serving God? Is it because you're scared of going to hell(which is for real) or heaven is mainly your target? Are you doing it because, you're forced to attend church services all the time or simply just to please your parents, family or others? Matthew 6:1(ESV) says "Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven."

All my questions lead me to one thing.........A DEEPER AND MORE INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS. One which doesn't worry about weather or not i'll make it to heaven or hell but fully concentrate and saturate myself in Him. One which gives me GREATER JOY in reverencing God with my inner most being to the point that i loose myself completely in Him.......you know why? because our prayer to 'LET HIS KINGDOM COME AND HIS WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN' also means having that bond here on earth and then continuing in eternity.

You see, doing this also requires DISCIPLINE. When you've given up on yourself to be in that sort of relationship, the Spirit of God guides you in every way. Your life is then directed and corrected as you race on. You become embedded in the Spirit of God who prompts you when you're going off track and keeps reminding you constantly to keep your eyes on the prize ahead.

It's a scary thought to think that, after all is said and done and our Lord Jesus Christ returns, He'll say to you, sorry i don't know you. How sad it'll be to be turned away. After all the prayers, fasting, devotions, sharing the Word and end up not KNOWING Jesus personally will be a shame.

I am reminded of one thing the Apostle Paul said in;

1 Corinthians 9:24-27(NIV)

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

In short, i guess all i'm trying to share is; Do not strive to be disqualified in the end. Allow The Word of God to be your daily guide. Strive for an intimate relationship, strive towards the goal, like an athlete discipline yourself to win the prize but above all strive for an eternal CROWN which will come with a "WELL DONE, GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT."

So each day you wake up, after thanking God for the gift of life, give yourself a reality check and allow His Spirit to lead you...........Remain Blessed.

Wise Quotes - ALLOW GOD TO LEAD YOU!

DO YOU SEEK THE FACE OF GOD BEFORE YOU MAKE A MOVE??? That is the question of the day.

Now let's take a minute
to think about this......from the moment you made God the Lord of your life, which meant HIM being your first point of contact, can you genuinely recollect the number of times you waited on God to give you the go ahead before you made a move?

Many are the decisions we make each day of our lives but when you think about it,  we hardly hear from God before we make decisions........this shows how impatient we are as God's people. And our 'fast - track' generation doesn't help matters either. We have become a generation of 'fast-foods', 'immediate transactions', 'short-cuts', we are always on the move and so eager to get things done we fail to ask God first. And when things start going wrong, we ask God why? If God's word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path(Psalm 119:105, then surely His say-so should be our guide before we take a step forward.

I can recollect the number of times in this year alone that certain decisions I've made have costed me dearly due to the fact that I made them without consulting God. Decisions that have costed me emotions, money, time, my energy and even relationships......Now I look back and I think to myself, if only I had spoken to God first. ....He would have given me a clear direction or guide and I would have avoided myself the pain and the lose.

WOW! Like really??? Yes really! When we ask our Father to reveal to us the way to utilise the plans we have set out, He surely will and even reveal the 'pot-holes' to avoid on the way. As this Word came to me today, I thought hard about it and my conversation with the Holy Spirit was as follows:

Me: But I do sometimes ask You for directions when I'm lost....like for instance in a traffic and You do show me the way out.

HOLY SPIRIT: 'Sometimes', 'when you're lost'. How about asking me FIRST before you set out?  How about ALWAYS asking me for directions NOT just for driving but for EVERY area of your life before you make a move?

This certainly lead me to a heart of repentance and I said a prayer for God to forgive me and give me a teachable Spirit that will always seek HIM first before doing anything. God requires total dependants on Him for our everyday lives. We can do that by trusting in Him and having the faith that He knows what's best for us and will never let us be put to shame.

Wise Quotes - DO NOT BE CHASED FROM THE PRESENCE OF GOD!

Hi family, it's been a while......The Lord is doing a new thing in our generation and i'm here today to encourage on a Word the Spirit of God laid on my heart. I recently shared this Word with my church family and thought i'll share with you all too.

As the title goes ' DO NOT BE CHASED FROM THE PRESENCE OF GOD'. Many times we hear of excuses people give from going to the house of God. Now bear in mind we are the church and the place of worship is the sanctuary and whatever building has been called a place of worship is automatically endorsed by the Spirit of God to be a blessing for His people. 

              *******PAUSE TO THINK********

Do you know that anytime there is a call to the house of God - be it Sunday Services or whatever mid week service, the angels of God are evoked into that premises and they come with whatever blessings are assigned by God to His people?

Well, if you didn't, now you know. In Acts 1, Jesus promised the gift of the Holy Spirit after His departure......He specifically gave the instruction not to go anywhere until the Spirit comes. Acts 1:4-5 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “DO NOT leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

                 *******PAUSE TO THINK********

Do you know, that on the day Jesus addressed His followers about this, there were over 500 people present? Please read 1 Corinthians 15:5-8.

Yes there were but on the day of Pentecost, there were only 120 people present when the Spirit came upon them.......Acts 2.

So the question is, what happened to the 380 or more people who were instructed not to leave until the Spirit comes? Could it be that they had to go because they had other things to do? Or perhaps they had jobs and businesses to attend to? Maybe just maybe they had better things to do than to wait on God's promises or perhaps just like the 10 virgins who missed the coming back of Jesus in Matthew 25:1-13, they thought to themselves, they will pop out quickly and come back later. 

Well guess what? Just as those 10 virgins missed the bridegroom's coming, so did these people. They missed out on the promise of the Holy Spirit....oh! what a sad day it must have been for them. Brethren, let us not forsake the gathering of the saints for God always has something in store for us. Let us not grow weary in waiting on Him. The Word of God says to pray without ceasing and that means praying and meditating on His Word at every given opportunity. And when the saints of God gathers, there is a renewing of faith, a revival, a strengthening and an awakening......there is always much more than the eyes could see if only we'll not make excuses and be present where we're called to fellowship, if only we'll take heed to the direction of the Holy Spirits promptings for our life.

Today i came to encourage you not to allow circumstances or situations drive you away from the presence of God. In His presence is fullness of Joy, in His presence are pleasures forevermore, in His presences are the wisdom you need for this life so brethren, wait on Him. I have asked this question before and will like to ask again. ......has anyone ever succeeded in Loving the Lord to perfection? I don't think so.

But God in His perfected love showed us by giving of Himself to us through His Son Jesus Christ to perfect in us a Love so pure and true.

When your heart is overflowing with the Father's Love, you get short of words sometimes and instead you give out a moan......that is the exact cry my heart gave out after reading today's promise from the Word of God.

I read this scripture for the first time in the 'Message' version and it was a comfort to the soul......WOW! Imagine God commanding His Angels everyday to keep a watch over your every step of the day. And not even ending it there but it is their duty and I repeat their duty to make sure you don't stumble and if you happen to, then they will catch you and keep you from falling.....woooow!

I don't know about you but our God deserves more than a thank You for this. He deserves our total commitment to Him each and every minute of our lives. Imagine each of us has a promise in this Word of Angels going about with us.
